The Reserve Bank of India (Payments Banks – Financial Statements: Presentation and Disclosures) Second Amendment Directions, 2026, issued under Section 35A of the Banking Regulation Act, 1949, amend the Reserve Bank of India (Payments Banks – Financial Statements: Presentation and Disclosures) Directions, 2025. Consequent to the revised Basel Pillar 3 disclosure framework, the amendment removes the disclosure requirement relating to remuneration from the Financial Statements: Presentation and Disclosures Directions. The amendment comes into effect from 1 April 2027. The amendment deletes the requirement for remuneration disclosures under the Financial Statements: Presentation and Disclosures Directions, with such disclosures now governed under the revised Prudential Norms on Capital Adequacy Directions (Basel Pillar 3 framework).
